Curent Event 2.0






During this COVID 19  period, mental health practitioners may see more patients than normal. Official social media became a vital source of pandemic information for the general population. Regardless of whether information distribution serves a beneficial or bad purpose, it affects the public's risk perception and behavior. Unrest seen on the news, on social media can trigger or intensify symptoms of underlying mental illness.

Now in many countries of the planets, for example, the UK, outbreaks of a new Omicron mutation - XE. new omicron

Of course, such news cannot be ignored and instantly become viral on the Internet. However, the long experience of spreading news and general information about the coronavirus has shown that news about one of the most contagious diseases indeed affect the psychological state of a person.

 As word of the new coronavirus epidemic circulated throughout the world, the public became more concerned. Thus, people are more emotionally receptive against the background of fear for their health. I am sure it wont be surprising that this experience of stress over fear in combination with infinite number of information in social media might create psychological problems such as panic, dread, depression, and exhaustion.
